The Empire State Building

The Bermuda triangle is a place where many planes and boats comminly have electronic failures. Many planes go missing when passing through the triangle.

Recently, it has been thought that the Empire State Building has the same affect as the triangle. According to the New York Daily News many cars break down when coming close to the building and a tow-truck operater stated that if you pull the broken down car 3-4 blocks away from the building it starts right up. Some believe that the problem could be caused by the 203-foot-long antenna on the top of the building could be sending out radio waves.

Personally I believe this could be true. But, the building's officials have shot all statements down.

FEDA

Special Forces of Arturo Beltran is a large gang type group in Mexico. They are the followers of Arturo Beltran. A Mexican drug kingpin. Jan. 22, 12 of the gang members were captured and arrested. When arrested they were wearing average clothing and jackets were found with the FEDA label on them. When arrested they were taken outside in front of the home they were captured in. The snapshots were taken there and taped by news groups in public. There weapons were stacked and organized together to show they were a threat and why they were being arrested. I think it is a good thing that they were paraded out like this. They are obviously part of a dangerous organization and people need to see that, and the only way they will see that is by the criminals being shown in this manner. The police made the criminals look bad in front of the public. Which, I believe is what they should have done. To warn people, and to show people that these groups are real and need to be stopped.

The Dark Knight

This years batman will be amazing, with Heath and what not. He is an amazing actor. I really think he will bring the true darkness out of the Joker. In this film I believe the Joker will be portrayed how he should have been all along. A psychotic madman. I can not wait for this new film... R.I.P. Heath.

360, Wii, or PS3?

Which system is the best? I'm not going to give my input until I see some of yours. Your choices are the three systems above. The Microsoft x-box 360, Sony ps3, or the Nintendo wii. Please post your answer and a brief description of why you think the system you chose is the best.

Video Games

What's wrong with video games? I don't see a problem with video games at all. In my opinion they are simply just a hobby. Such as reading a book or drawing a picture. There are many elements to each video game. Obviously many of the people who play video games are immature or "stupid" but there is also a good amount of gamers who are intelligent or artistic. I play video games everyday, and I'm not totally immature, I may talk at inappropriate times during school, but I'm not someone who would pee in my teachers coffee cup.

Another argument about video games is the violence. First of all if you let a video game control your mind and cause you to kill or injure someone, you have a problem not the video game. Plus there are these handy things.

These are video game ratings. If you are 12 or under stick with C-E. Teenager? Go with C-T. Over 18? Get whatever you want. There is a reason for these labels. If you don't want your child to be exposed to the "dangers of violence in video games" don't buy an M. And stay away from the Ao Rating for sure. Personally, I play all ratings... except maybe C.

Immigration Nation is the title of a packet we read in my Sociology class. It describes the effects and statistics of illegal immigration.

Immigration is a huge problem. According to some people. It hasn't affected my life at all. But I do however understand how it affects other people's lives. Jobs are being handed to illegal aliens before hard-working Americans simply because of lower pay.
